That book was a long time coming.
This is total self-promotion, but also a total CELEBRATION. Code Name Rascal, a novel set in World War 2 Hawaii featuring four strong women of the Women’s Air Raid Defense was just selected as a first place selection for the CIBA Hemingway Award. I am so happy for the recognition of the ladies of the WARD.
